Let's talk about the time I made 200,000 pesos online about two years ago as a student! Well, to be more accurate, I actually profited about Php 74,000 from my actual capital of Php 18,040. I did buy and sell on Shopee and Facebook marketplace, which introduced me to the challenges of online selling in the Philippines. It was a wild experience that I definitely learned a lot from and it has greatly impacted the way I think about making money online. If you're a teenager or a beginner wondering how you can leverage the powerful internet to start making money for yourself, hopefully this video can give you some helpful information about that. While I seriously love talking about finance, I would like to emphasize that I am not a financial advisor. I'm only sharing the things I've learned from the platforms I use, as well as my experiences and takeaways. As I mention in the video, all I can do is to give you some guides and examples that you might be interested in implementing into your own system, but they are by no means the best or the only way to do personal finance. These are only one person's experience and opinions among the many possibilities that can happen for you. There are plenty of people out there sharing their own tips and experiences, so I suggest that you cherry pick the information that seem reasonable for you and then put them into action! You don't need to know everything before you start. Learn a bit, test it, learn some more, and then adjust your strategies bit by bit. While you can certainly invest in a wide range of things, my biggest advice for the best thing that you can ever invest in is yourself. Invest in your education and your skills. As Robert Kiyosaki mentions in his book, Rich Dad Poor Dad: "Your mind is your best asset." I believe that developing this kind of mindset and outlook on how you approach things pays dividends in the long run.
