BLUE RAMEN at Kipposhi in SHIBUYA - Visiting Tokyo's only blue ramen restaurant
BLUE RAMEN craziness in Shibuya at Kipposhi! Tina from "Tokyo Diaries" visited the blue ramen restaurant Kipposhi in Shibuya together with me for this colorful ramen experience. The owner of Kipposhi has been making ramen for over 20 years now and is always looking for ways to make interesting new ramen creations. Their specialty though is the coloring of their ramen. The most famous one is probably their blue ramen, but they also serve yellow ramen, green ramen and red ramen. All colored with secret natural ingredients trough the tare seasoning sauce. The broth base is the same for all of them. The noodles at Kipposhi are round and slurpy with medium thickness, very regular in my opinion. The chashu topping is exquisite though. Cooked sous-vide chicken breast with the skin left on. Very juicy and full of flavor.
