Faith is a Choice: A Response to Rhett and Link’s Spiritual Deconstruction
A response video to Rhett and Link’s Spiritual Deconstruction podcasts they did on Ear Biscuits. Rhett and Link are famous youtubers, probably most famous for their show called Good Mythical Morning, and previously they were fairly forward with their faith, but recently on their podcast they did a deconstruction on their faith. They invited others to tell their story, so here is mine. I talk about faith in Christ and belief in God, and then go through examples of things Rhett and Link said that I’ve also heard other people who have left their faith say. I talk about crisis of faith and leaving the ship of faith, as well as address things like Rhett and Link moving to LA and losing faith. Ultimately, I put forward that faith is a choice, and use a personal example of Sazed from Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn series.
